How’ve you been? Hope this missive finds you well, and that you’re enjoying the season as much as me. Late May and early June had an incredible stretch of perfect weather here in central Ohio. Mild, blue sky days in the 70’s with cool clear nights. The greening up of the land was boosted along by a few cloudbursts as of late. We’ve had a couple doozies that knocked down some limbs and left us without power twice just this week!
Long days, (the longest of the year soon!) when the sun hangs on past 9:00 in the evening really remind me of when I was a boy. The good feeling of school’s out, weather is warm, and running around outside so late in the twilight is still with me. The late sunsets and the time they afford us are yet another reason to love June.
Speaking of June, the Summer Solstice shares the calendar with Father’s Day this year. Hope you can spend it with the old man, and/or the ones that gave you the title. To celebrate the patriarch, I’ve got five new pipes to offer commemorating the lessons, wisdom, and memories of dear old dad.
I’m also excited to announce a new line of merch for the pipe smoker. These first designs nod to your favorite blends, plus one that’s just in time for America’s 250th. I'll be adding more in the upcoming weeks, so stay tuned!
