Maß | Briar Tobacco Pipe

Even though Oktoberfest is a wild celebration of all aspects of German culture — food, music, dancing, games — it’s obviously the beer that makes the Munich festival so famous. It’s my favorite style to drink and I look forward to sampling a wide variety of Oktoberfests every year. This collection was designed to mirror the amber glow of the signature Märzen brew and to capture the warmth and camaraderie of a shared mug.

A Maß refers to the traditional 1-liter glass beer mug used at the festival. This pipe mimics the design of the iconic vessel with circular divots on the sides of the bowl. When ordering beer at Oktoberfest, ask for Maß bitte, in other words "a liter of beer, please.”
